Summer season has officially started and the temperature is soaring all time high. The intense heat drains us of all our energy and high spirits. Chilled water keeps our sanity intact but there are moments when it does not feels enough. There are various ice teas and fruity powders available in the market then again the flavour is not that intense and they are full of sugar so drinking them makes us feel guilty more than fun.

The best way to beat the intense heat is by preparing some amazing fruity cocktails at home. They taste delicious and can be sipped at anytime of the day. Preparing them is a task as easy as combing one's hair and they do not even cost much. Nothing can be better than chilled fruity drinks to quench the thirst. All you need is a blender, shaker, some ice and fruits to make you feel like you are in heaven.

Pineapple Punch

Ingredients

Pineapple Chunks-6 to 7
Lemon Juice- as per taste
Sugar Syrup-as per taste
Basil Leaves- 2-4
Soda- Half Bottle

Muddle together all the ingredients except for soda nicely. Once muddled add load of ice and soda into the mixture and give it a good shake. Take a glass put some ice and pour the drink after sieving it, into the glass.  Garnish your drink with a slice of pineapple and a basil leaf, voila! Your drink is ready to be sipped.

Orange Mint Mojito

Ingredients

Orange Chunks-6
Sugar Cube-1
Lemon Juice- as per the taste
Mint Leaves- 2 to 4
Sprite- 1 Can

Method

Bring together all the ingredients except for sprite and muddle them nicely. Once all the flavours are released add spirit into the mixture and sieve and pour it in the serving glass with some ice cubes. Garnish it with mint leaf and your drink is ready!
