Song Joong-ki Made A Surprise Cameo As 'Vincenzo' In 'Queen Of Tears' Episode 8

Netflix's Queen of Tears is the hottest Korean drama everyone is talking about right now, with each episodes keeping viewers hooked. on 31 March, the rating went exceptionally high when Song Joong-ki made a surprise cameo. The main characters, Baek Hyun-woo (played by Kim Soo Hyun) and Hong Hae-in (played by Kim Ji-won), are currently caught in a heated divorce battle.

Hired by Hae-in, Song Joong-ki plays the famous mafia lawyer representing her, Vincenzo Cassano, from the 2021 drama, Vincenzo. Thanks to the production director, Kim Hee-won, who has prior experience with Vincenzo and is now co-directing Queen of Tears. Check out the short clip below:

In the scene, Baek Hyun-woo's attorney friend, Kim Yang-ki (Moon Tae-yu), hilariously describes to Hyun-woo who Vincenzo is, referencing Song Joong-ki's past acting experiences such as Descendants of the Sun, Werewolf Boy, Space Sweepers, and more.

One fan wrote, "Song Joong-ki looks the same way he did when I watched Vincenzo," Another wrote, "Vincenzo BGM!! I am having goosebumps". And a third user chimed in, saying, "All three of them in one frame now please".
For those unfamiliar, Vincenzo follows the story of a Korean-Italian mafia lawyer. Additionally, Queen of Tears marks Song Joong-ki's third project alongside Kim Ji-won, following their previous collaborations in Arthdal Chronicles and Descendants of the Sun.
