Designed to look like Colmar, a charming storybook-esque town in northeastern France, this resort village comes with picturesque medieval buildings, cobblestone streets and small canals.

And no, Studio Ghibli fans, you're not imagining things! This village may look familiar to those who have seen the popular film Howl's Moving Castle, since the female lead Sophie's hometown is also modelled after Colmar.
